Martinsburg, A Movie

& Virtual Tour

Pretty Good Creations is in the process of creating a complete Virtual Tour of the Martinsburg area. It will be easy with a list of what is in each video beside it. All video’s will be hosted on this site.

Because of the vast size of this Virtual Tour it will be in labeled sections for faster, easier loading and the opportunity to view anything in particular you are looking for.

Anyone participating will be asked to put a link to here on their web site if they have one.

This Virtual Tour will also be available in High Definition, wide screen,  format on DVD to purchase.

Once completed, the tour will be online in both high and low bandwidth.

If you are located in the Martinsburg area and have something you would like to include in this tour that fits the criteria, please  contact us using the link at the bottom and let us know.

We will be adding segments as they are completed.

We will update the information on this page as we progress.

Thank you for stopping by and please, send us your feedback!

Finished segments

· CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Abused & Neglected Children. On the right here.

· US Air Force Recruiter, Martinsburg office

In production with some rehearsal clips to view

· Opening Segment. Testing the Switch from real to animated form. Shot this on a freezing cold day and so hazy I couldn’t find Martinsburg from the mountain. (My first blooper for the blooper reel happened here) We did 1 take, jumped back in the heated car and left! It’s the first scene to the right.

· Library, no sound. The library segment is going to be a lot of fun. It’s lights out and the characters come out of the books and run amuck! Here are a few test shots for likely segments.

In production, not yet avaialble

· Berkeley County Historical Society

· CCAP Loaves & Fishes

· Martinsburg-Berkeley County Public Libraries

· Martinsburg Railroad Roundhouse Center

·

Tech Rehearsals & Finished Segments

Here is an opportunity to watch movie making in progress. We thought it might be fun to show some of what goes into making a film like this and give you an advanced peak at a few of the segments we’re planning. Working with avatars is a new concept and like any film making there are screen tests, takes and retakes and test shots. For those of you who might enjoy these clips, we’ve put some of them in here. These are tests to see how things will work in different scenario’s and surroundings, especially how the avatars will interact with things.  Depending on your connection speed you may need to press the play arrow a few times to get it to play.

We hope you enjoy them! Feel free to drop us line and let us know what you think.

Thanks for stopping by,  Dan
